Saw tooth rooflights on an industrial building

Saw tooth rooflights – continuous rooflights for glare-free daylight

Optimum room illumination with soft light

A saw tooth rooflight is basically a row of monopitch rooflights. This type of roof, which is commonly used in industrial architecture, is most frequently used in assembly shops, factory buildings, shopping centres and sports halls where soft lighting and optimum indoor illumination are needed.

In addition to the industrial charm, the special advantage of saw tooth rooflights is the glare-free incidence of the light due to the north-facing orientation.

Saw tooth roof ridgelights are available with double (A74) or triple glazing (A98) and can be installed at pitch angles of between 25° and 90°, with alternate modules as opening casements – even as smoke and heat exhaust ventilation (SHEV) systems and the glazing units are absolutely identical in appearance from the outside and the inside.
