VELUX Modular Skylight – Step Longlight/Ridgelight
Multiple rows of skylight modules connected to create a large glass roof.
Step Longlights and Step Ridgelights enable great daylight designs in buildings with large, open atriums.
Step Longlights/Ridgelights consist of multiple rows of VELUX Modular Skylights installed using joint brackets at an installation pitch of between 5° and 25°.
The structural beams on the inside of the building support the rows, which are connected by a factory finished flashing that ensures drainage of water between the rows.
GLASOLUX plans and produces the supporting beams and, if required, can also fit the whole roof glazing system.
Step Longlights and Step Ridgelights can thus be used to create entire glass roofs.
